DAY(01) YANGON ARRIVAL AND EVENING: VISIT SHWEDAGON PAGODA IF TIME PERMIT

Arrival Yangon by international flight. Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Evening visit Shwedagon Pagoda rises 326ft (99.3m) above its base. Erected more than 2500 years ago and enshrining eight hairs of Buddha placed in a treasure chamber deep under its base. It is the highest symbol of the people's devotion to Buddha. Enjoy dinner at Karaweik Restaurant with Myanmar Culture Show. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

DAY(02) YANGON FULL DAY PRIVATE SIGHTSEEING (BY CAR)

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, drive through the Colonial Style Buildings downtown, the Chinatown area and the Indian quarter. Enjoy your photo stop at Sule Pagoda and City Hall. Continue visit to Botathaung Pagoda close to the Yangon Wharves. There is a sort of mirrored maze inside the stupa, with glass showcases containing many of the ancient relics. Afternoon, start your sightseeing with visit to Bogyoke (Scott) Market (closed on every Mondays & Public Holidays). Continue to the reclining Buddha at Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, is almost as large as the enormous figure in Bago Shwethalyaung. Then drive to Kandawgyi Park and take photo of Shwedagon Pagoda from Kandawgyi Park.  Walk on the busy streets of downtown. In the evening the pavement turns into a night-market with a variety of goods on display. It is the opportunity to see “the real Yangon”. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

DAY(03) YANGON – MANDALAY (AM FLIGHT) AND MINGUN – MANDALAY PRIVATE SIGHTSEEING

This morning, our guide will pick up at hotel and transfer to the airport to leave for Yangon. When you arrive at Mandalay, start for highlight sightseeing in which is the second largest city and the last royal capital of Burma. Transfer to jetty and take a boat trip about 1 hr to Mingune, located on the western bank of the Ayeyarwady River. Arrive Mingune, visit huge unfinished Mingun Pagoda built between 1790 and 1797 which was split by earthquake in 1838. It is possibly the world's largest pile of bricks.  World’s largest working bell of 87 tons cast in 1808 by Bodawpaya.  Mya Thein Tan pagoda an image of Sulamani Pagoda at the peak of Mount Meru in Tavatimsa plane of nats.  Back to Mandalay by boat. Visit Mahamuni Golden Buddha Image, bronze casting and marble stone cutting craftsmen quarters and gold leaf beaters. Visit Ku Tho Daw Pagoda also known as world's largest book, surrounded by 729 marble slabs inscribed with Buddhist scriptures. It was built by King Mindon in 1857, modeled on the Shwezigon Pagoda at Nyaung U. Proceed to Golden Palace Monastery, which was once part of the palace complex where King Mindon lived. Evening view the sunset from Mandalay Hill. Overnight at Hotel in Mandalay.

DAY(04) MANDALAY – AMARAPURA – U BEIN BRIDGE – SAGAING – AVA SIGHTSEEING (BY PRIVATE BOAT)

This morning, drive to Amarapura, capital before Mandalay for visiting silk weaving industry cottages. Morning visit Amarapura Mahagandayone monastery where over thousands of monks are dwelling. Proceed to U Bein Bridge, 1.6km long wooden bridge said to be the longest teak bridge in the world, built over 150 years. The bridge links Amarapura with an island in the middle of Lake Taungthaman, an intermittent body of water which dries up during winter. Drive straight to Sagaing a town at the foot of Sagaing Hills, dotted with hundreds of pagodas, monasteries and nunneries quarters. In Sagaing visit Soon Oo Ponya Shin Pagoda, perched on the highest hill which offers panoramic views of the valleys and wide Ayeyarwady River. After visit to U Min Thonze (Hall of thirty Buddhas). If desired visit silver smith workshops in Yahtaung village. Continue to Inwa (Ava) by boat. Inwa was founded in 1364 and served as capital of Burmese Kingdom for nearly 400 years. Inwa’s finest attraction to visit is the teak Bagaya Monastery which dates from 1834. The 90ft high masonry watchtower Nan myin, the leaning tower of Inwa is all that remains of King Bagyidaw’s palace. Visit Maha Aungmye Bonzan also known as Me Nu Ok Kyaung, the brick structure built in 1818 is same style as common teak monasteries. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

DAY(05) MANDALAY – YANDABO VILLAGE (BY IRRAWADDY PRINCESS II CRUISE)

Our guide will pick up at you hotel and transfer Shwekyetyet Jetty. Welcome Drink and briefing.   Cruising downstream to Yandabo Village. Sightseeing Yandabo Village. Depend on the base economy is famous for the production of terracotta from the riverbank clay. We see the pottery making process at various stages. Yandabo, historically recognized for the signing of the Yandabo Treaty which took place under a tree on the riverbank in 1826 between the British and Royal Burmese House-hold of Ava. Shore excursion time is 1 hour. Back to board and cast off. Overnight on the cruise.

DAY(06) YANDABO VILLAGE – BAGAN  (IRRAWADDY PRINCESS II CRUISE) AND BAGAN FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING

This morning, our guide will pick up at Bagan jetty and transfer to hotel. Then, start for highlight sightseeing in Bagan, which is on the banks of the Ayerwaddy River is home to the largest area of Buddhist temples, pagodas, stupas and ruins in the world, many dating to the 11th and 12th century. The shape and construction of each building is highly significant in Buddhism with each component part taking on spiritual meaning. Start for highlight sightseeing in Bagan. Visit Shwezigon Pagoda, prototype of later Myanmar stupa & of the famous pagoda of Myanmar. Kyansithar Umin, long dimly lit corridors decorated with frescoes. Htilominlo Temple, 150ft high temple with fine plaster carvings, glazed sandstone decorations in the base. Ananda Temple, one of the most beautiful temples in Bagan built by King Kyansitthar. Visit Thatbyinnyu Temple, tallest in Bagan, Myinkaba Gu Byauk Gyi Temple with mural paintings, then to Manuha Temple which houses four immense Buddha images, Myinkaba lacquerware village to see the manufacturing stages. View the sunset from Shwesandaw Pagoda. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

DAY(07) BAGAN – MT. POPA – SHWE HLAING – BAGAN SIGHTSEEING (BY PRIVATE CAR)

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, start for trip to Mt. Popa about 30 miles (50km) from Bagan. Popa Taung Kalut is 2417ft (737m) standing apart from higher forested mountain, looks like a tower. The mountain was shaped out of a volcano that may have erupted some 250000 years ago. The 25 minutes climb steep and stiff. It gets cooler as you get higher and views are fantastic. On the way visit jaggery (palm sugar) production huts and Shwe Hlaing Village in order to see local ways of life. Then return back to Bagan and visit Dhamayangyi Temple, huge brick red temple built by King Narathu, Sulamani Temple a beautiful majestic structure built by King Narapati Sithu. DAY(08) BAGAN – HEHO (AM FLIGHT) AND INLE LAKE FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING

This morning, our guide will pick up at hotel and transfer to Bagan airport to leave for Heho. Arrival Heho you are now in the Shan State. Agreeable climate 800 meter above sea level. Drive to Nyaung Shwe on the way photo stop of Shwe Yan Pyay old wooden monastery, pagoda and museum.  Take a short boat trip on Inle Lake to reach the hotel, start highlight sightseeing in Inle Lake. Take a short boat trip on Inle Lake to reach the hotel. Sightseeing by boat on the beautiful Inle Lake home to Inthar national race, many of whom live in stilted houses built over the water. Inle Lake is second largest lake in Myanmar, stretches 11 miles (17.7 km). On the boat trip you will visit the market places, floating villages and floating gardens, silk & lotus stem weaving. You can also see Inthar technique of leg-rowing where one leg is wrapped around the paddle to drive the boat and also their traditional way of fishing. Afternoon: visit the famous Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda and Nga Phe Kyaung  Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries on the lake to see ancient Buddha images. Overnight at Hotel in Inle Lake.

DAY(09) INLE LAKE – 5 DAY MARKET – INDEIN – INLE LAKE FULL DAY PRIVATE SIGHTSEEING

This morning, explore one of the local 5-day markets, as we easily called, are well-known visit around the lake.  The markets are rotating among the villages in regular order - one village becomes the host of the market every 5th day.  By visiting 5-day markets, you will get insight into the life-style of the ethnic Pa-O, Danu and Intha inhabitants who came to these markets to sell their goods.  The visit to such markets is thus subject to market day calendar and the location of the host village. Take enjoyable boat ride through irrigation canals to Indein pagoda complex- an archaeological site worthy to visit where hundreds of Shan style ruined pagodas stand on slop of a hill. Some of the pagodas dated back to 17th and 18th centuries.  Overnight at hotel in Inle lake.

DAY(10) INLE LAKE – HEHO – THANDWE (AM FLIGHT) – NGAPALI BEACH

This morning, our guide will pick up at hotel and transfer to the Heho airport to leave for Thandwe. When you arrive at Thandwe, the hotel will pick up and transfer to Ngapali with their shuttle bus. Overnight at hotel in Ngapali Beach.
