DAY(01) YANGON ARRIVAL AND EVENING: VISIT SHWEDAGON PAGODA IF TIME PERMIT

Arrival Yangon by international flight. Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Evening visit Shwedagon Pagoda rises 326ft (99.3m) above its base. Erected more than 2500 years ago and enshrining eight hairs of Buddha placed in a treasure chamber deep under its base. It is the highest symbol of the people's devotion to Buddha. Enjoy dinner at Karaweik Restaurant with Myanmar Culture Show. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

DAY(02) YANGON – MANDALAY (AM FLIGHT) AND AMARAPURA – AMARAPURA SIGHTSEEING (BY PRIVATE  CAR)

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport in order to leave for Mandalay. Mandalay is the second largest city and the last royal capital of Burma. Drive to Amarapura, capital before Mandalay for visiting silk weaving industry cottages. Morning visit Amarapura Mahagandayone monastery where over thousands of monks are dwelling. Proceed to U Bein Bridge, 1.6km long wooden bridge said to be the longest teak bridge in the world, built over 150 years. The bridge links Amarapura with an island in the middle of Lake Taungthaman, an intermittent body of water which dries up during winter. Continue to Inwa (Ava) by boat. Inwa was founded in 1364 and served as capital of Burmese Kingdom for nearly 400 years. Inwa’s finest attraction to visit is the teak Bagaya Monastery which dates from 1834. The 90ft high masonry watchtower Nan myin, the leaning tower of Inwa is all that remains of King Bagyidaw’s palace. Visit Maha Aungmye Bonzan also known as Me Nu Ok Kyaung, the brick structure built in 1818 is same style as common teak monasteries. Transfer to Mandalay and visit Mahamuni Golden Buddha Image, bronze casting and marble stone cutting craftsmen quarters and gold leaf beaters.  Transfer to the hotel and check in. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

DAY(03) MANDALAY – MINGUN – MANDALAY PRIVATE FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING (BY PRIVATE CAR, BOAT, WALKING)

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, take a boat trip about 1 hr to Mingune, located on the western bank of the Ayeyarwady River. Arrive Mingune, visit huge unfinished Mingun Pagoda built between 1790 and 1797 which was split by earthquake in 1838. It is possibly the world's largest pile of bricks.  World’s largest working bell of 87 tons cast in 1808 by Bodawpaya. Mya Thein Tan pagoda an image of Sulamani Pagoda at the peak of Mount Meru in Tavatimsa plane of nats. Back to Mandalay by boat. Visit Ku Tho Daw Pagoda also known as world's largest book, surrounded by 729 marble slabs inscribed with Buddhist scriptures. It was built by King Mindon in 1857, modeled on the Shwezigon Pagoda at Nyaung U. Proceed to Golden Palace Monastery, which was once part of the palace complex where King Mindon lived.  Evening view the sunset from Mandalay Hill. Overnight at Hotel in Mandalay.

DAY(04) MANDALAY – SAGAING – PHO WUN TAUNG – MONYWA  FULL DAY PRIVATE SIGHTSEEING (BY CAR)

Breakfast at hotel. Directly drive to Monywa via Sagaing (3 hrs). Sagaing is a town at the foot of Sagaing Hills, dotted with hundreds of pagodas, monasteries and nunneries quarters. In Sagaing visit U Min Thonze (Hall of thirty Buddhas), Soon Oo Ponya Shin Pagoda, perched on the highest hill which offers panoramic views of the valleys and wide Ayeyarwady River, nunnery quarters , after visit to silver smith work-shops in Yahtaung village. Kaunghmudaw Pagoda styled after the domed shape of the famous Mahacedi Pagoda in Sri Lanka. Actually 6 miles west from Sagaing. Afternoon, proceed to Monywa (1 ½ hrs) and before entering Monywa visit Thanbodday Pagoda complex with more than 580,000 Buddha Images, all in seated or standing poses. Bodhi Tataung complex, three miles east from Thanbodday. Arrive Monywa, check-in at hotel. Monywa located on the eastern banks of Chindwin River is bustling up country town 84 miles (135 km) from Mandalay. Overnight at Hotel in Monywa.

DAY(05) MONYWA – PAKOKKU – BAGAN FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING (BY PRIVATE CAR)

Breakfast at hotel. Check-out from hotel and drive to Po Win Taung, located on western bank of Chindwin River. Drive across the Chindwin Bridge for visiting Po Win Taung and Shwe Ba Taung Pagoda cave complex about 16 miles (26km) west of Monywa. These complexes of 492 cave temples are packed with 2588 Buddhas and there are beautiful 16th century wall paintings in some cave. Drive to Pakokku (driving time about 3 ½ hours). Pakokku is a flourishing trading town on western banks of Ayeyarwaddy River. Across the Ayeyarwaddy River by Pakokku bridge.  Arrive Bagan and the hotel check-in. (If time permits, visit to one of the convenient places or pagodas to see sunset). Overnight at Hotel in Bagan.

DAY(06) BAGAN FULL DAY PRIVATE TEMPLE TOUR (BY CAR)

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, start highlight sightseeing in Bagan. Bagan is on the banks of the Ayerwaddy River is home to the largest area of Buddhist temples, pagodas, stupas and ruins in the world, many dating to the 11th and 12th century. The shape and construction of each building is highly significant in Buddhism with each component part taking on spiritual meaning. Visit Shwezigon Pagoda, prototype of later Myanmar stupa & of the famous pagoda of Myanmar. Kyansithar Umin, long dimly lit corridors decorated with frescoes. Htilominlo Temple, 150ft high temple with fine plaster carvings, glazed sandstone decorations in the base.   Ananda Temple, one of the most beautiful temples in Bagan built by King Kyansitthar. Visit Thatbyinnyu Temple, tallest in Bagan, Myinkaba Gu Byauk Gyi Temple with mural paintings, then to Manuha Temple which houses four immense Buddha images, Myinkaba lacquerware village to see the manufacturing stages.  View the sunset from Shwesandaw Pagoda.  Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

DAY(07) BAGAN – MT. POPA – BAGAN FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING (BY PRIVATE CAR)

Breakfast at hotel. Start for trip to Mt. Popa about 30 miles (50km) from Bagan. Popa Taung Kalut is 2417ft (737m) standing apart from higher forested mountain, looks like a tower. The mountain was shaped out of a volcano that may have erupted some 250000 years ago. The 25 minutes climb steep and stiff. It gets cooler as you get higher and views are fantastic. On the way visit jaggery (palm sugar) production huts. Then return back to Bagan and visit Dhamayangyi Temple, huge brick red temple built by King Narathu, Sulamani Temple a beautiful majestic structure built by King Narapati Sithu. DAY(08) BAGAN – HEHO (AM FLIGHT) AND PINDAYA – INLE LAKE FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING (BY PRIVATE CAR)

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the Mandalay airport in order to leave for Heho.

Arrival Heho you are now in the Shan State. Agreeable climate 800 meter above sea level, fertile land various flowers and vegetables for the whole of Myanmar are harvested here. Drive to Pindaya Cave (approx. 1 ½ hr)-believed to contain more than 8000 Buddha Images of all sizes, caved in wood, stone, marble and bronze thickly glided. Shan papers production cottages are also interested to visit where handmade papers are produced from the plup of mulberry bark dried in the sun. Other cottage industry interesting to visit is oiled paper umbrellas used by monks and nuns. Every part is worked by hand. Drive to Nyaung Shwe on the way photo stop of Shwe Yan Pyay old wooden monastery, pagoda. Overnight at hotel in Inle Lake.

DAY(09) INLE LAKE FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING (BY PRIVATE CAR)

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, sightseeing by boat on the beautiful Inle Lake home to Inthar national race, many of whom live in stilted houses built over the water. Inle Lake is second largest lake in Myanmar, stretches 11 miles (17.7 km). On the boat trip you will visit the market places, floating villages and floating gardens, silk & lotus stem weaving. You can also see Inthar technique of leg-rowing where one leg is wrapped around the paddle to drive the boat and also their traditional way of fishing. Afternoon: visit the famous Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda and Nga Phe Kyaung which is called Cat jumping Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries on the lake to see ancient Buddha images.

DAY(10) INLE LAKE – MINETHAUK VILLAGE – INLE LAKE FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING (BY PRIVATE BOAT)

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, this morning visit to village of Maing Thauk on the edge of Inle Lake by boat. Walk up a dirt track through the village and continue up the hill to a stupa. The walk takes around 2 hours round trip and the route is not steep.

In the afternoon, we enjoy another boat tour to Indein, at the western end of the Lake. The boat takes you through a long and this ride is one of the most scenic boat tours on Lake Inle. Overnight at hotel in Inle Lake.

DAY(11) INLE LAKE – SAGAR – PHAEKHONE (BY PRIVATE BOAT) – LOIKAW (BY PRIVATE CAR)

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, take a boat trip to Sagar, located at extreme south of the lake. On the way stop at one of the villages where five day market takes place. Arrive Sagar after taking a boat trip about 3 hrs. Tour around in Sagar and visit some ethic groups to study their daily life. Our car will pick up you at Phaekhone jetty and drive to Loikaw about (3 hrs). Arrive Loikaw, transfer to the hotel and check in. Overnight at hotel in Loikaw.

DAY(12) LOIKAW FULL DAY PRIVATE SIGHTSEEING (BY CAR)

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, visit to Demawso Market which only open on Wednesdays and Saturdays. You will have spectacular opportunity to see the ethnic groups wearing colorful traditional costumes and trading their wares. On the return drive, we'll explore more of Loikaw as we stop to visit Ngwe Taung Dam and San Mone Padaung villages.  In the afternoon, visit the Kayah State Museum gain insight in to the unique culture and tradition of ethnic groups in this region. Then, visit a field near the village containing spiritual posts, locally known as Kaehtobo which are used during the Kayah New Year celebrations in April. At that time, the local people offer food to the guardian spirits at this location. Continue with a visit to a traditional weaving shop.  . Enjoy the sunset and panoramic view of Loikaw the hill of Taungwe Taung Zedi. Overnight at hotel in Loikaw.

DAY(13) LOIKAW – KALAW (BY PRIVATE CAR/APPROX: 4 HRS)

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, visit to Pohperyone teaching monastery where about 500 monks are studying.  Drive to Kalaw about 4 hours, formers British hills station town, cool, spring-like weather, pine forests, tea plantations and colorfully clad hill tribes make this town to a natural magnet for tourists.  One the way we shall stop over to observe unique Myin Mahti Natural Cave houses ancient Buddha Images. Arrive Kalaw, visit the Local Market and walking up the hill to see the Old Catholic Church, Kalaw Railway Station (built in 1918), the colonial buildings on East Circular Road, Nee Paya, woven with the bamboo strips and covered with cloth dipped in lacquer. Overnight at hotel in Kalaw.

DAY(14) KALAW – HEHO – YANGON (AM FLIGHT) AND YANGON FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING (BY PRIVATE CAR)

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the Heho airport in order to leave for Yangon.

From the Airport, start your sightseeing with drive through the Colonial Style Buildings downtown, the Chinatown area and the Indian quarter. Enjoy your photo stop at Sule Pagoda and City Hall. Continue visit to Botathaung Pagoda close to the Yangon Wharves. There is a sort of mirrored maze inside the stupa, with glass showcases containing many of the ancient relics. Afternoon, visit to Bogyoke (Scott) Market (closed on every Mondays & Public Holidays) and it has the largest selection of Burmese handicrafts. Continue to the reclining Buddha at Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, is almost as large as the enormous figure in Bago Shwethalyaung. Then drive to Kandawgyi Park and take photo of Shwedagon Pagoda from Kandawgyi Park. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

DAY(15) YANGON DEPARTURE

Breakfast at hotel. Free at leisure until your departure time. You will be transferred to the airport for your international flight.
